Baby's Wish List
The Shady Grove Pregnancy Center is in regular need of the following items for the babies we serve:
- Formula — milk and soy based with an expiration date of one year beyond the purchase date.
- Baby Food — with an expiration date of one—year shelf life.
- Disposable Diapers — sizes 3-4-5 and 6.
- Cloth Diaper Kit — consist of 2 dozen cloth diapers, diaper pail, rubber pants, safety pins, wipes, rash ointment and small box of detergent.
- Seasonal Clothes — sizes infant to 3T for boys and girls. Sleepers, t—shirts, tops, shorts, pants, sweaters, sweat sets, coats, etc. If the clothes are used than we ask for them to be considered "gently used" without signs of wear or stains. We ask for spring/summer clothes during the months of April through August and fall/winter clothes during the months of September through March.
- Port-a-cribs
- Cribs — for safety purposes the crib's bars should be no more than 2 3/8" apart. The crib needs to come with all its parts and be less than 5 years old. We are unable to give away a crib with cracked or pealed paint, small cracks in the wood around the joints, or an overly loose crib that cannot withstand a toddler shaking it.
- Mattress — new only. We cannot accept a used mattress.
- Strollers — light weight, in good working condition, and portable for public transportation use.
- Car Seats — brand new, never used (convertible) car seats that can be used with an infant up to toddler. Instructions must be included.
- Baby Toys — brand new, still in the wrapper.
Please know that we would like to accept everything donated to our Center. UNFORTUNATELY we do not have the capabilities to store or repair, and therefore must be selective in what we can accept. Thank you for considering the Center for placing your material donation. Rest assured that your items will go to a home in need.
